Well, yes, people have a tendency to say that step-siblings and such aren't their family, and that's not what I'm saying. Under certain belief systems, it's okay to have sexual relations with someone as long as there's no blood relation. In other words, a person can still sleep with a family member as long as that family member isn't blood related, and the only case in which that would happen is with distant cousins (who can create a child and not fear for birth defects), or with step-family. So you can still love your step-sister like a real sister, but you would be able to love her as a lover as well.You must love your neighbour as much as you love yourself. Another person living with you is a little more than your neighbour. But you shouldn't covet your neighbour's wife. How is it any less when someone comes acting as a sister or brother, as a family unit, not as a unit within the family.
