I rely on private healthcare now and even that is fast becoming what the NHS GP service has become with insurers reluctant to authorise a claim. GP's are mostly useless if you actively want to monitor and improve your health, they won't give you a blood test at your request, you need to be sick first and they will do the minimum to cut corners and save money, often misdiagnosing.
