What are the best studies you know of on the relationship between the endogenous hormone levels and reaching the same level by use of bioidentical exogenous hormones? We know, for example, getting the bloodab vitamin D levels to increase using sun versus eating D3 are significantly different. Why wouldn't this be true in a different way for every hormone?

because it all comes down to how your body uses and processes the hormones

some people go on Testosterone Therapy and their T levels rise but for others taking the same causes their Estrogen levels to rise.

people respond differently to similar stimulus based on their biology and no two biologies are identical. hormones are regulated by several glands in the body and some people my have an over active gland some may have under active.

when the body produces hormones it relies on several systems to work together like making vitamin D. even after the body has made vitamin D it has to sulphate it to make it active or inactive. Active D3 bypasses all the parameters and safety nets the body has and is works immediatley and this can cause calcium deposits.
