Anyone know of something that is good for muscle relaxing? I want something that will relax muscles mostly for sleep purposes to help knock me out and make for a deeper sleep. I thought about nyquil maybe to give it a try before sleep for a deeper sleep? I use chamomile tea and of course gelatin, but looking for something else. I do use magnesium as well so I know about that one.

thanks.

When I was prescribed valium for a pinched nerve I used niacinamide and pregnenolone together before bed based on a post I read here. I can't seem to find it right now but I'll keep looking.

Magnesium Glycinate is one of the best, or malate

Interestingly, Gotu Kola is a GABA Transaminase Inhibitor. It would have good synergy with KAVA.

Non-drug possibilities:
Enough food.
Hot bath.
Being warm enough but not too hot in bed.
Bedtime stories and lullabies.
Chinstrap/tape/reduced breathing exercises.

I've found topical Mg chloride helpful for cramps or tight muscles.

I concur with all the answers above. Making sure you’re well fed is important and often overlooked.
Cyproheptadine seems to help a lot of people with sleep.

Probably not the answer your looking for but I always sleep better after excerting my body earlier in the day. I find sprints the most effective. 10-15 seconds of maximum effort sprinting followed by 45-60 seconds of recovery. Repeated 3 times.
