Ukraine Crisis

Interesting drama going on at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Ukraine has been shelling its power lines that feed its backup generators and blaming it on the Russians, who occupy and protect the facility with about 500 troops. More laughable "Russia is shelling itself" silliness. Zelensky is railing against Russian nuclear terror. The US is calling for Russia to turn it over to Ukraine to stop the risks of nuclear catastrophe. International politicians are calling for inspections. Russia apparently also wants inspectors present, but that was supposedly stopped by the UN. Energoatom, the Ukrainian operator, claimed to have inside intelligence that Russia is trying to destroy the plant. Meanwhile, Rosatom, the local Russian utility, instructed the operators to disconnect the plant from Ukraine's grid and connect it to the Crimean grid, which they have done. Then Energoatom came up with this ridiculous story; you don't need to shell power lines to disconnect them from the grid; just throw some switches.

BTW, US hit Crimea yesterday (military airfield) with ATACMS(?).

Apparently they want to hard hit Zaporizhzhia NPP too - public opinion (that the Russians are shelling themselves) is already spreading through controlled media channels.

Have a link about Crimea? I read Ukraine denied it, then said they did it. No missile visible on videos, eye witnesses didn't see one. May have been an accident or sabotage

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are behind the explosions at the Russian airfield near the city of Saki in the occupied Crimea - The New York Times, citing an official info from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. It is reported that exclusively "Ukrainian-made" weapons were used for the strike.

But UA does not have in-house long range missiles. Same story as with Moskva which was hit with harpoons...

The NYT is as reliable as the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is.

That's why they are laundering US, talking about hohols mythical missiles. Another casus belli, but since Putin is almost ballless, nothing will happen next.

Here are shootings with burned planes - arrivals are typical for precision strikes.

Looks like they got incinerated from the ammo dump blast

This is an interesting video because it shows a double-tap with thermobaric ATGMs (anti-tank missiles) against an entrenched position. At 0:04 you can see one ATGM fire, then a 2nd ATGM back behind it fires a split second later. Next (after the drone operator viewing his screen) you see the 1st missile streak in and hit, and then the 2nd missile does the same a split second later. Last is a closeup of the entrenched position, which has been completely incinerated. I feel so sorry for the men manning these trenches because there is no hope for them. Keep sound off.

@01.07.22 "Tired of being a doll": Medvedev tried to commit suicide

According to journalists, the former president of the Russian Federation tried to commit suicide. The guard allegedly found Dmitry Medvedev in a state of intoxication and with a weapon in his hand.

This is stated in the plot of the FreeDom(UA) project. It is reported that it was the guard who persuaded the former Russian president to hand over the gun.

"And the cleaner found 5 versions of suicide notes in which Medvedev wrote that he was tired of being a doll. And he blames Putin and his inner circle for his death," the story says.

Russian politician Ilya Ponomarev says he is not surprised by these rumors, which are spreading from within the Russian Federation as a result of an internal Kremlin power struggle.

It's no secret that Medvedev came to power in the Russian Federation thanks to Putin, and thanks to him he refused to run for president for the second time.

It is assumed that now between Medvedev and "Kiriyenko"(real last name - Israelite) there is an internal struggle over who will become Putin's successor. Experts argue that Medvedev's recent demonstrative behavior is a sign of deep depression, which became the reason for the suicide attempt.

Ilya Ponomarev says that high hopes were placed on Medvedev politically, but he missed every opportunity. It is for this reason that he is now being criticized. And that could be the reason for his depression.

Earlier, journalists reported that after the start of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, Medvedev turned into an embittered Russian politician, writing "angry" posts against the West and Ukraine. All his telegram activity is an attempt to pull himself out of political oblivion. But there is a second point of view on his posts in social networks - this is just the fulfillment of the tasks set by Putin, and not a personal initiative.

@07/17/2022 Medvedev promised Ukraine Judgment Day because of Crimea

For Ukraine, Judgment Day may come in the event of strikes on Crimea. This statement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting with veterans in Volgograd.
"Individual exalted bloody clowns who pop up there from time to time with some statements are also trying to threaten us, referring to the attack on Crimea and so on. In this regard, I want to say that it is quite obvious that they understand the consequences of such statements," Medvedev is quoted.

According to him, the consequences that Ukraine will receive in this case will be inevitable and extremely difficult.

He also stressed that the refusal of Ukraine or NATO countries to recognize Crimea as Russian is a systemic threat to Russia.

"This is a direct and obvious threat, especially in the context of what happened with Crimea. Crimea returned to the Russian Federation. If any other state, be it Ukraine or NATO countries, believes that Crimea is not Russian, it is a systemic threat for us" - said Medvedev.

The day before, possible strikes on Crimea were announced by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the office of President Zelensky. Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that the Crimean bridge would become an object of attack when the "first technical possibility" appeared. Vadim Skibitsky, spokesman for the Defense Ministry's main intelligence department, said Kyiv could use US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems against targets in Crimea. They can be "caliber systems, frigates, small missile ships, submarines."

Second Chernobyl

At the moment, at the Zaporozhye NPP, at the storage site for spent fuel elements (TVEL), about 156 containers with a total number of fuel elements of 3744 pieces are stored in the open air.

The storage area is, in fact, defenseless against any external influence. On August 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the ZNPP from the Uragan MLRS. The submunitions of the shells, among other things, fell just a dozen meters from the TVEL storage site.

If they got on the site and damaged the containers, the consequences could be the most dire.

UA is aiming to get into the radioactive waste storage facility at the ZNPP, which is literally under the open sky. When they succeed, there will be a second Chernobyl within the borders of the Zaporozhye, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions.

Today, the high-voltage line of the Kakhovskaya substation was damaged. For restoration work, the line was grounded.

At least three arrivals were recorded in the area of the storage of radioactive isotopes.

Station specialists were instructed to move to protected premises.

Sometimes it’s fun to see these guys fumble through a press conference. The “Russia is failing in many areas” bit starts around 3:55.

Of course when they say failures, they resort back to “Russia won’t be occupying all of Ukraine and is now only focusing on the south and east.” Kinda like their original goals?

I know it’s beating a dead horse, but to talk endlessly about the failed 3-day SMO is ridiculous. Can’t exactly demilitarize a country like Ukraine in three days.

Peski (Pisky) was a well-to-do community on the outskirts of Donetsk. Now it's rubble. Impressive video of small TOS-1 thermobaric barrage. Russians aren't kidding around

"There are no civilians left there anymore last guy left his house in 2015. they where driven out by the Ukrainian army for being Untermensch, after they stole all their belongings and shipped it all west to bandera land. How do i know? I had a datcha there."

G7(US + its minions) now acts as a nuclear terrorist group, covering Ukraine for shelling NPP territory to push Russian troops out of it.
