Increase in adenosine receptors?Should have a similar effect to caffeine, supposedly with less jitters (or that's what people report at least), with lower dosage needs. Never taken it myself though.
Increase in adenosine receptors?
Yes, as well as the dopaminergic action of caffeine, though you have to remember that increased receptor density usually means that it is an antagonist to the adenosine (which both caffeine and theacrine are):
Locomotor activation by theacrine, a purine alkaloid structurally similar to caffeine: Involvement of adenosine and dopamine receptors - ScienceDirect - dopamine agonist, adenosine antagonist
Redirecting - appears to have anti-inflammatory effects where caffeine doesn't
So theacrine is adenosine antagonist?
adenosine antagonism.
It's so hard to get my hands on Theacrine.
