Quality Compass

Who here got any experience or knowledge about compasses?

I am looking for a compass that can show me accurately, precisely where north is.

Lately, many people complain about how the quality of compasses declined in the last decade, i.e. compasses develop bubbles, become inaccurate after a few weeks/months.

This is why I ask here.
