I have the option to start a half a grain of NP thyroid which is 30mg … or start T4 19mcg T3 4.5mcg (levothyroxine plus liothyronine) combo. Does anyone have any advice which is better to go with? Is one more potent than the other? My labs were off so my doc wants to keep my levels stable for overall wellness

Is synthetic t3 t4 more potent than NDT?

I just got through testing desiccated thyroid. I am back to the T4 and T3. I just can’t get the desiccated to work for me. I didn’t try Armour though.
What product if you don’t mind saying?
Is there a difference between desiccated vs armour/np? I seemed to have better experience from the levo/lio combo which was fully synthetic . It came in a capsule vs NP is a tablet. However, the compounding pharmacy also makes desiccated in a capsule version. Isn’t capsule better absorbed?
