How about this:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/won ... olesterol/
http://www.forbes.com/sites/larryhusten ... olesterol/

From the Forbes article:
“...It’s the right decision,” Steve Nissen told USA Today. “We got the dietary guidelines wrong. They’ve been wrong for decades.” Nissen also said that advice about reducing saturated fat and salt may be wrong, but no major change in these areas is expected in the new guidelines."

So, basically the authors of the study that "exonerated" cholesterol is saying that saturated fat and salt are fine, but admits that change won't be coming any time soon. Translation - too much money at stake in PUFA industry, we can't just dismantle it overnight.

I remember when the first dietary guidelines came out and it was widely reported in the press that there was no link between dietary cholesterol and serum cholesterol. I distinctly remember it because I realized I didn't have to quit eating eggs. It all got conflated somehow over the years.
