Hello all, I was finding good brand of allithiamine but did not find so I started reading about other fat soluble thiamines and found that benfotiamine is beneficial against endotoxin. The downside of benfotiamine is that it doesnt cross blood brain barrier.

Benfotiamine is effective in increasing free thiamine in the brain, attenuates depressive like behaviour and it ameliorates signs and symptoms of Alzheimers disease in a mouse model. It is also effective in long-term human AD studies. I am not so sure it can't cross the blood brain barrier.

I think I read study when they used both, benfotiamine and sulbutiamine but only sulbutiamine crossed the blood brain barrier.
