The neighbor took over your shed (moscow occupied Crimea) and destroyed your fence (east of Ukraine) and his mad dogs are running in your backyard. Now he is shooting gun next to whatever is left of your fence.

Everyone knows Russia would never allow Ukraine to join NATO just as the US would never allow a comparable military alliance into a neighboring country. But there are always the empty promises and dangling carrots from the west to build more discord. NATO wins if they expand and they win if there’s no peace in the region.

This is the start of a new cold war between the west and China/Russia. The US wants to ensure europe stays within its orbit and away from the growing influence of China & Russia.

The China invading Taiwan scare was to bolster allies against China. Now they are trying to separate Russia and europe. If Russia can be provoked into aggression the sanction wont seem as high-handed. However, more sanctions and stopping Nordstream 2 are inevitable.

Behind it all is the desire to have countries who rely on US arms, monopolies, and banks.

2. Crimea and east of Ukraine were occupied by putin when biden was VP. They are both ***holes and whatever they are doing - they are doing together.

3. Moscovia broken tones of different agreements and treaties by occupying Crimea and east of Ukraine.

4. Nobody here seams to care about what going to happen to 40 millions of Ukrainian people. No one cares about what we want. We dont want to be part of moscowia or USA. We want to be independent.

5. The reason we wanted to join NATO was to avoid a war with moscovia. Now since it has happened and been going for 8 years now. We dont really need NATO any more.

6. Ukraine has a decent military (210000 active personnel and big reserve). Full scale war of this size in the middle of Europe will affect whole world.

7. Should I add that we have 4 nuclear power plants with 15 reactors? If moscow drunk soldiers hit one of those?

8. For normal people anywhere in the world it would be the best to not have escalation.

Ukrainians were living in the north of Crimea even when it was Crimean Khanate.
