Hi all,

Would someone be able to interpret / provide suggestions based on the thyroid labs below? I am helping a friend with his health; he just had some work done. I believe his TSH is high, as most people suggest a level of around 1. I believe this would mean he is sub-clinical hypothyroid.

Could someone expand on or confirm this?

Thanks.

Lab typed below:

TSH-3th generation uIU/mL 2.324 0.550 - 4.780
T3 Free pg/mL 3.9 2.3 - 4.2
Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) AB's U/mL <28 0.0 - 60.0

Hi there. Possibly. Definitely consider other symptoms he is going through. Cold hands and feet, constipation, SIBO, memory problems, edema, and all the classic hypothyroid symptoms....

Yes, the TSH is a little high but I would consider a repeat if he is not symptomatic, along with other key labs, such as vitamin D, calcium, PTH, and prolactin.
