Just for the sake of argument that if there are x numbers of KIAs then you’ll likely have an even larger number of wounded.

I don’t think that Russia already suffered 10k dead soldiers but I don’t trust Russia’s own claims either. So around 5000 isn’t unlikely. But nobody really knows from the outside. Certainly not the British MoD.

Russians conducted a larger attack on Seredyna (Sumy) which was successfully repelled by Ukrainians. Might have been a probing attack which will be followed up by more serious efforts to open a new axis to divert Ukrainians away from Donbass. More likely though that it was just another incompetent attempt which failed due to insufficient forces and bad planning.

Thanks. It’s sickening to witness the carnage and killing „firsthand“ due to social media. It’s good to see the material of the instigators of all this destroyed. It’s nauseating to see the soldiers around. They are dead now. Dead for serving, unwittingly, the cause of devilish, inhuman elites.

In their death, at least there is some use. Every operator trained on the new weapons that is no longer available means shortening of the war.

Due to the inability to perform the entire encirclement of UA forces in Donbass, the Russian Federation changed tactics.

Currently, the efforts of the Russian troops are focused on closing the following relatively small groups:

?Severodonetsk - grouping of around 2000 personnel;
?Gorskoe + Zolotoe - up to 3000;
? Lysichansk - up to 10000;
?Svetlodarsk - from 2000;
?Avdiivka + Vasilievka - only 4000.

The UA command is aware of the difficult situation and is trying to strengthen the lines. Territorial defense units once again went into action.

Also, the surrender of Azovstal took place at the wrong time (already more than 2,000 prisoners) - this has a very bad effect on the morale of the selflessly defending UA units in Donbass.
