The citrus groves are really struggling and they refuse to stop using so many fungicides and pesticides because they have depleted the land and they would get taken out by disease quick. But the more chems they use the worse the problem gets thus requiring more pesticides. They need to boost soil fertility to see anything improve.

And in many places they cut down all the groves and replaced with housing developments.
