Immigration minister Robert Jenrick said reports of diphtheria at the Manston processing centre had been "exaggerated" but UK Health Security Agency said there has been a spike.
A diphtheria outbreak has struck at a migrant processing camp, as dozens of cases of the highly contagious disease have been recorded in England.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is working with the Home Office to roll out vaccinations at the facility in Manston, Kent, following the spike.
