Hearing loss from ear infections as a child

Hi all! Does anyone have any resources or experience healing hearing loss as a result of ear infections as a child? I'm asking for one of my close friends, a 30 yr old male, who had pretty severe ear infections as a child.

If there is scar tissue in the ear, is it possible to regenerate it?

I haven't found much on the topic, and I've searched quite a bit, but here's what I've found:

* Red light therapy
* Working on the Lymphatic "Big 6"
* Improving posture
* Reducing inflammation
* Plus just having a pro-metabolic diet/lifestyle in general

Any help you could send would be much appreciated!
