Yes, there get lot of financial support, if a couple signs a contract and promise that they will have 2 or 3 or 4 children.
However, now they will pay 50% fine for the state, for the sum of the bank credit, they received, as they did not fulfil what they pledged. Economic situation in Hungary is not the best, inflation rate is high. The government fixed prices of base 6 foods at an 2021 October price. Producers in order to eliminate the loss, they increased all other prices by 20-30-40%. Fuel prices are fixed at 480 Hungarian Forint per liter (it is about 1,2 Euro), Gas station owners went into banktrupcy.
Lot of wholesale producers must sell their products at an amount goverment prescibed, irrespectively of the wholesale price.

To understand it, sunflower oil wholesale price is 1000 HUF (2,5 Euro) per liter, but shops must sell it at 1,70-2 Euro.
Same situation is for fuels, wholesale price is about 2 Euro/liter, but gas stations must sell it under 480 HUF (1,2 Euro)
The government created a laws, that this price is only valid for Hungarian owned (plated) cars. If a person works at abroad, and has a car with German, Austrian number plate, he/she must pay market price.

Do not ask me how can they do it. Lof of gas stations had been closed. Food stores must sell sugar, sunflower oil, flour, chicken breast and other 2 products at about half price of the official wholesale price. So what you see in the newspaper and what you experience in life are very different.
Earlier I experienced that food prices in Hungary had generally been higher than those in Germany.
Do not forget, Hungary has the highest sales tax/value added tax, 27%, near for all products and services.

Everywhere, there was no speculation and no experts were asked about the reason why the birth rate in Germany has been unusually low for about nine months after the start of mass vaccinations.

The established media are thus lapsing into the same pronounced non-hysteria (indifference) that they displayed when they failed to report on the high excess mortality in Germany and many other countries in 2022.

According to the Federal Statistical Office, only 51,199 babies were born alive in February 2023, 2,528 fewer than the previous year. In January, there had been 54,648 live births, 3,758 fewer than a year earlier. This continues a downward trend that has been almost uninterrupted since the beginning of 2022
