So, I am speculating that there could be a similar correlated etiology of homosexuality (broadly defined, whatever characteristics this includes), and AIDS, which would explain why homosexuality and AIDS are correlated. Because in an alternative model of AIDS causation, without HIV as the cause, I think this correlation has to be addressed.

In the alternative model, AIDS is predominantly toxicological. Something about the surrounding environment causes the immunodeficiency.

As for stigma, I mean that many will label certain topics as "stigma" as a means to stifle discourse on a subject.
