I'm like one of those sketchy people you meet in a dark alley who is overly confident they have just what you need, but far more disturbing. A bizarre mix of fruitarian and Peater peddling her OJ and coffee fertilized, red light and musically grown, progest-e massaged, no animals were harmed in the making, high Brix herbs. They grow hair where you don't want it, add padding where you don't need it and have been known to cause a peculiar rash in the shape of Jesus

You, are awesome.

:D best post ever

I try to get most of my zinc from diet mainly. Liver regularly and mushrooms, occasional seafood when affordable.
I also supplement zinc to fill in gaps but supplements can have issues.

I prefer to get it from food too. Supplemental zinc seems to make me feel sick in the stomach.

Peat has said that supplemental Zinc can oxidize other compounds in the stomach so it's best to get it from food when possible.
I do supplement with garden of life raw zinc from time to time. It doesn't seem to have the junk found in most supps and it doesn't seem to set my stomach off.
I believe it's made for vegans as well.

The ones who look decent (Mark Sisson) often eat more carbs then people think or at least refeed on carbs often and don't stay in ketosis.

Paleo's not all that different from us. They avoid nuts, seeds, grains: a head-start on the SAD. They consume those things in animal form, though.

A cool thing about the fruitarian people is they should, if they keep true to the faith and avoid the nuts and seeds, probably become
EFAD, right? Would be neat if durianrider or any internet long-term fruitarian did a blood test for Mead acids. I'd throw in a few bucks for the crowdfunder.

@allblues seems that way, and also lower their iron, although protein would be a problem. some members here were fruitarian and they have their own stories about what worked, or didn't.
neat list @lisaferraro

I've seen this mentioned before, and agree that he aged fast. It's hard to pin down the cause. Could be lack of protein (especially glycine), or all that endurance training, or significant UV exposure, or excessive AGEs, or all of the above.

Yes exactly ,I believe it low protein caused this, especially that he works out.with exercise increase your protein requirement.

But why AGEs?!

According to one person who had a close look a durianrider's mouth, he has a completely new set of teeth.

Freelee looks healthier than she is because she has breast implants. She apparently uses botox. She has had other procedures. She has also had 'female' problems; we know this because she made videos claiming that it was good that her period stopped.

Durianrider was on TV once and had his B12 tested. "Never seen a person with levels that low," said the doctor. So know they both take B12 shots.

These people are not healthy. They are a couple of loud-mouthed, obnoxious internet marketers who have a large following mostly because freelee doesn't wear much in her videos. She is sadly leading many, many women astray into diet hell.

She obviously has metabolic problems. Even they couldn't maintain their 'raw vegan' diet and had to change it to 'raw till four'.

Anthony Colpo (AnthonyColpo) has a couple of take-downs of these clowns. Have a read and then forget about these people forever.

Are u guys for real. The guy is mid to late thirties lol

Honestly, you guys are just as bad as other forums the way you cherry pick stuff. I seen someone show a pic of Doug Graham the other day (on here), where he looked absolutely horrendous. I almost posted a very recent pic of him looking absolutely fabulous/flawless. I guess it all depends on how the sun caught you, eh?

I bet all you guys have chosen your very very very best pics for your avatars.

The point I'm making, is that linking a pic doesn't mean anything. You could give me ten thousand pics, and it still wouldn't mean anything. He may just look rough that day, or the camera might not be flattering in that light. It could literally be a million reasons for anything.

I'm just watching durianrider's video's now. He looks fairly normal to me. Considering his age.

I'm 34, and I looked younger 10 years ago as well. Strange that.

I think, considering how much cycling he does, and how much 'wear and tear' sunshine he gets (that's assuming he's out in the sun a lot... But he definitely gets more of it than I do), he actually looks really good.

801010 is low PUFA remember. Probably lower than any of us are doing. He could be part of this very forum. So you're basically bashing one of your own.

And all that garbage written above about Freelee. I think you have to be careful writing things like that. People can get sued nowadays for writing unsubstantiated garbage.

A cool thing about the fruitarian people is they should, if they keep true to the faith and avoid the nuts and seeds, probably become

I'm not sure. In order to succeed on a 801010 diet, you need calories, and lots of them (especially fruitarians, as fructose is far from satiating). Durianrider has always stated the importance of calories. If you punch 30 medium bananas in to the cronometer, it still comes out with 2.6g of polyunsaturated fats (from 3000 calories, and 11g of total fat). Would that be a deficiency?

I know he eats other things too (so isn't a fruitarian, per se), but just illustrating that it's actually quite difficult to get a deficiency (especially if you value the importance of calorie intake).

That's assuming one would follow everything that is stated on the cronometer.

what i said is that he aged too much for 8 years , look at his skin.

i didnt said he is too old for his age.

the diet they promote has 2 good things , its high carb and low pufa.

but it is low on protein.what are they doing is misleading a lot of people.

veganism is a type of fetish, it has nothing to do with science or wisdom or holistic view!

it is funny he promotes steroid use to make muscle but avoids proteins.

Uncle Chester's mask aside, yes DR shows sign of aging (who doesn't?). I'm just surprised he doesn't look worse, considering all the potential extra oxydative damage he might have had because of all the oxygen he's been taking in (compared to an average citizen). Take in twice as much oxygen daily, it's going to have extra risks, even if your system upregulates its gear to handle it.
