My Government is Lying to Me

I beginning to think of news about security issuses as means for getting the Camel's nose into the tent. The possibility Tic Toc misusing private information is an excuse/lie to pass draconian legislation. This story could be the basis for new sweeping national security laws for restricting free speech on the internet. I am thinking that this could be the basis for a possible government related exception to the right to free speech.

This leak should demonstrate to Americans that the government is lying to everybody about the purpose of the war, and how well the war is going.

Of course they don’t want this information getting out into the public domain because they know support for it will collapse. They of course want the war to continue….no matter the cost.
