We are actually seeing evidence of that in our nail and hair mineral analysis tests, though I am sure the nuclear tests done in the 1950s and 1960s all over North America (NA) probably contributed heavily too. When heavy metal toxicity is present, for samples from people living in NA it is usually uranium and/or lead (a final degradation product of most radioactive isotopes), and from the rest of the world it is usually aluminium, cadmium, nickel, etc.
