great quote. I believe that until one can really still his mind from the clutter of thoughts and trappings of life, he can never experience this life to it's fullest (that includes getting away from people - I do it all the time - Jesus did too :)"A man can be himself only so long as he is alone; and if he does not love solitude, he will not love freedom; for it is only when he is alone that he is really free" - Arthur Schopenhauer.
I believe that I've found one element of wisdom:
It's easy for a person who's overworked their body to readily grasp one principle of a good life: the significance and importance of rest. It is also easy for one person who grew up in a slacking, slovenly home, to readily grasp one other important principle: the value and power of thorough and disciplined work.
- Finding the balance of those 2 seemingly apposing principles - or, the tensions between the dichotomies of life, is where the journey is, and is where wisdom is found :)
What I'm saying is, you need to find the balance. Community and relationships don't have to look like eating out with 10 people every night!
The place for big groups are actually necessary once-in-a-two-week kinda thing, where you get out of your comfort zone, and find out how retarded you actually are, and then get good at navigating how to be comfortable talking to women and getting rid of autist tendencies that make you repulsive to the good and attractive women who just want to be good-natured, fun, and kind.
