Just watched Revolver from 2005. I thought it was really good, not your usual Jason Statham movie. I felt like it touched upon some of the psychological aspects behind the whole c-vid scamdemic and why people act so weird.

I really enjoyed the new documentary George Carlin’s American Dream. Clocks in at nearly 4 hours in 2 parts but well worth it, especially if you’re already a fan.

Do not watch the trailer as it contains spoilers. Surprising plot, not the usual cold war movie.

The Manchurian Candidate (1962 film)
The Manchurian Candidate is a 1962 American neo-noir psychological political thriller film directed and produced by John Frankenheimer. The screenplay is by George Axelrod, based on the 1959 Richard Condon novel The Manchurian Candidate. The film's leading actors are Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, and Angela Lansbury, with co-stars Janet Leigh, Henry Silva, and James Gregory.[4]

The plot centers on Korean War veteran Raymond Shaw, part of a prominent political family. Shaw is brainwashed by communists after his Army platoon is captured. He returns to civilian life in the United States, where he becomes an unwitting assassin in an international communist conspiracy. The group, which includes representatives of the People’s Republic of China and the Soviet Union, plans to assassinate the presidential nominee of an American political party leading to the overthrow of the U.S. government.

The film was released in the United States on October 24, 1962, at the height of U.S.–Soviet hostility during the Cuban Missile Crisis. It was widely acclaimed by Western critics and was nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actress (Lansbury) and Best Editing. It was selected in 1994 for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".[5][6] ......

Very surprising plot twists!

A Touch of Zen - 1971. Long but the quintessential Drama/Kung Fu movie. King Hu production.
New Dragon Gate Inn - 1992 remake of the 1967 Dragon Gate movie by King Hu. Also good. But slow pace.
Zatoichi - Any of the orignal Shintaro Katsu movies. 25 movies.
Zatoichi - 2003 Directed by Takeshi Kitano. Also starring Takeshi Kitano. Vivid and Fantastic. GCI blood is copious, but adds something. Like ketchup!
Kung Fu Hustle. Stephen Chow's Epic tale.

A touch of Zen was on youtu but now not in english anyway.
