A thread for Great movies to watch

Good 'ol days. Dynamic, classic-style animation, artistically inspired, creative, and explicit elements mixed with a touching video game-like story. They just don't make them like they used to and it's very nostalgic if you miss the late 90s, early 00s legacy Japanese media. This box is the prequel, which came out after the original, however, I recommend watching both parts. I prefer the sub rather than the English dub since it has some really funny and charming voice acting.

House Calls (1978), with Walter Matthau and Glenda Jackson, is a comedy that has aged very well, calling out greedy and incompetent doctors! Fancy that!

1 - The Machinist

2 - The Prestige

3 - Eyes Wide Shut

4 - The Shining

5 - The Village
Based on your list, I'd recommend Primer, and Suspect Zero, definitely in that dark Indy vibe like The Machinist. I really enjoyed the new Dune movie recently.

Good thing I skipped it. Why is it trash?
the creator, (who also created terminator, the prequel series to the matrix), didnt want to make the 4th movie, but warner brothers would have done it with them or without them, so instead of bastardizing the series the writer purposely made it terrible so that it would never be taken as seriously as the previous films. the movie explains this as a cryptic message to fans thru symbolism and 4th wall breaking. Its okay to watch as long as you know this information, so as to pay the creator true redpill homage to the wachowski sisters, sophia stewart and keanu reeves
