My personal favorite is using simple math.

We use water level as a method of measurement for a perfectly flat line. We use it to frame photos on walls, and even complicated things like building skyscrapers.

So tell me, from a glass of water, to a swimming pool, to a lake, to an ocean, tell me, at what point does water begin to curve? At what surface area or volume does water begin to bend? There should be a formula for it. Clearly the earth is about 70% water. Any physicist should know the formula at which water magically begins to bend.

Unfortunately, it doesn't, at any point, and that's why such a formula doesn't exist.
