How does a diet high in sugar reduce protein requirements? And do you know by how much? I'm extremely interested in this, a pointer to where I can look at this in depth would be insanely helpful. Thank you!Of course there's no substitute. However, a diet high in sugar reduces protein requirement, so fruit would be useful in a worst case scenario if not much protein from sound sources is available. 100g daily isn't that much. It's in only 3 quarts of milk.
