Absolutely intriguing. Creatine has immunomodulating properties. Most interestin probably its propertie to downregulate TLRs 4-7. Or desensitize them. That’s potentially very useful in overreaching immune responses due to various pathogenic stressors in immune compromised situations. It’s unclear to me if that’s a universally benign effect since it might also lead to diminished pathogen defence just like GC mediated effects
