This is something I’m really hoping for. I think I’d like to have one more pregnancy in the future. I’ve had the most awful nausea and vomiting in all my pregnancies that now makes so much sense in the context of toxic bile theory. Besides that, I’ve had healthy pregnancies and healthy babies, but my labors have gotten longer and harder with each baby. My 4th baby was an unassisted homebirth and 22 hard hours of incredibly painful labor. I’m thankful I stayed home, as I’m sure if I was in the hospital I would have ended up in a c section for “failure to progress”, but I truly don’t believe that if we are optimally healthy that labor is supposed to be so hard and so painful.
