If it is required, what can I put in a solution of distilled water, niacin, and sodium bicarbonate to stop it going stagnant?

I put a small amount aspirin powder in the first batch, but it went vinegary so I poured it away.

I do not put anything in it and have had no issues.

Carbonation is a way to preserve such a solution. Not sure if carbon dioxide will in some way react with the Niacin. I will try at home today.

That is a good idea...I have a soda stream somewhere but I would have to dig it out!

I am basically making a bulk, spray version of those topical niacin ampoules I found, which are of course sealed individually.

That doesn't sound realistic for a dilute topical solution
It does not sound realistic to put a synthetic dye into your body.
