- the Israelite that had a scab, or a bright spot or rising in his skin was to be examined by the priest and if need be to quarantine away from the rest.
- vaccinators like Edward Jenner would take the pus from a blister on a cow and rub it into the scratched and bleeding flesh of a man.

These 2 procedures are completely opposite. The Israelites knew not to put the contents of the scab in them!!
