There is quite a bit of data to support the use of wheat germ oil (natura gamma e + many other factors) especially from the Standard Process people. However the issue of oxidation and rancidity always arises with vegetable oils. My 99c store happens to have wheat germ for ~$1 a pound. It's a generic Mexican import brand (not organic and almost certainly GMO) but at that price I can eat a whole lot of it. I wonder how safe GMO wheat germ is with regards to glyphosphate content, and how much I would need to eat to equal a good standardized wheat germ oil extract like SP WG Perles.
