Male, 26
Low progesterone on blood tests. I decided to start taking 3:1 progesterone/DHEA via cortinon a couple weeks ago. 3-9mg per day of progesterone, almost every day. In that amount of time, my hairline seems incredibly weaker with what looks like less hair per square cm.
When I try to pull out hair purposefully, things seem to hold together pretty well. Get 1-2 strands every 2 times I roughly pull my hand through my hair.
No other lifestyle/diet/nutrition change recently.
Has anyone else seed this effect? Is this an illusion in my mind? Did progesterone perhaps make my hair thinner and more soft, leading to this illusion?
I've heard progesterone is supposed to help hair growth! Is there a cathartic period of some kind ?
