My first thing I always look at with loss of nocturnal erections, is carbs/calories.
I don't see any reason why I would be an example for anyone but here you go:Wagner, what does your typical nurtition plan look like? Eating more carbs like brown rice? Lots of protein? More healthy fats?
What do you mean ? I remember you saying resistant starch made you bigger while fructose/sucrose made you smaller so I'm guessing too much of the latter could give issues in your case.
I won't speak for James but sex drive & libido are the same thing... and this is the desire for sex...
Erections could occur even when you're not in the mood, so to speak, by contact of your partner which could then trigger the hormonal responses, including dopamine...
However, spontaneous or nocturnal erections occur without sexual factors and are typically the body's natural flow of hormones... especially during REM...
I learned a nice way to test for nocturnal erections... use one or two pieces of toilet paper, cut long wise to about 1" in width and as long as you need to wrap your penis with it and apply a small piece of tape to the paper only... obviously wrap your penis while flaccid, not too tight and just before bed... I suggest underwear like boxer briefs that hold yourself but allows for erections ... tighty whiteys not so much... If you happen to wake or when you wake up, you'll see the toilet paper torn...
Obviously takes a few attempts to satisfy the experiment and get things right... but if you get it right, you'll know you had a nocturnal erection...
