@haidut Do you think think will degrade very rapidly if 1 drop is mixed into home made toothpaste composed of coconut oil, baking soda and salt?
Thanks.

EDIT: This home is home made rat toothpaste, of course.

I've been applying a few drops of Kuinone on the right side of my chest for a week or so now and today I noticed a salient difference in the amount of chest hairs on the right compared to what I have on the left side.

Is this a testament of Kuinone's androgenic effects? I'm a 29 yo male. I'll be sure to apply some to the other side to even it out lol.

Hey is this going to be restocked anytime soon? I found an old bottle that’s almost empty and experienced some great effects from it, but I need to re-up! I don’t want to use Thorne as I like your products here, but I may have no choice :( my body needs K2!!!

What doses are y'all using, and are the original amounts and potency still the same? Heard on the latest Generative Energy, Danny stated that ~30 drops equated to ~6mg of K2.

He misspoke. If you look at the label on the Kuinone product it specifies that each drop is 2mg. 30 drops will give you 60mg and not 6mg.

I’ve read for a decade plus that the Japanese used massive amounts of K2 and had no I’ll effect. They were treating all sorts of things with 45mg doses, so 60 isn’t outrageous.

@haidut

I started taking AniPrin P a few weeks ago for dental pain. I have never taken aspirin and made sure I took plenty of Kuinone with it.
It immediately handled all dental discomfort I was having.
1/4 teaspoon of AniPrin in water instantly made me feel better. I took about 4 doses so about 1 teaspoon a day. So, 5 grams of aspirin?
After a week or so I was actually feeling EUPHORIC.
A week ago, I had extractions of 7 bottom teeth. The doctor freaked out even though the extractions went smoothly, and I didn't bleed out and, in fact my blood coagulated perfectly and instantly. The euphoria was something glorious. I am usually very anxious about going to the dentist. I was anxiety free and happy to see the dentist. The extractions went smoothy with no anxiety, pain or anything negative.
The doctor ordered me to stop taking the aspirin and he insisted I take Tylenol or Ibuprofen which I don't want to do.
I would like to continue with the aspirin. The euphoria was wonderful. Is the doctor way off base here?
BTW, how many mgs of aspirin in 1/4 teaspoon of AniPrin P?

Georgi, someone told me you said aspirin is actually less likely to cause bleeding at higher doses. Is this true? How do you explain the EUPHORIA with taking the aspirin? Is it safe for me to take 5 grams a day? I am a petite woman. How much of the Kuinone should I take? I was taking 15 drops 4 times a day but cut down to 10 drops twice a day. Also take TocoVit with it.

No one on this forum is going to give you medical advice. If your doctor recommended this, you are free to follow it or not on your own. But again, no one is going to tell you what to do.

I don’t think he misspoke. He’s talking about topical application, which provides roughly (according to Ray) 10% absorption. So 10% of 60mg = 6mg.

That wasn’t clear from context. Either one of us could be right. The math works either way.

Danny: "I put it on my... I put about 30 drops, so hopefully... possibly the equivalent to 6mg or so"

Yes, it's pretty clear he's talking about topical application. You wouldn't say "I put it on" if you're talking about ingesting it. Danny's spoken many times about Ray saying you absorb roughly 10% of oil-based vitamins/supplements. If you want to ingest 60mg of Vitamin K do so at your own discretion. But I wouldn't do it cuz you think Danny does it regularly, cuz that's clearly not the case.

Why the preference for topical application when the absorption rate is so low? Is digestive distress that much of a concern

Good ears.

Japan uses 45mg and up, so doubtful there's a problem. I can't find an LD50 for K2 either. Safe!

I think its almost weirdly safe for a fat soluble vitamin. Animals studies use the HED of 500-1000mg per day for long periods without saftey issues.

Kuinone causes some serious stomach issues for me when I take it orally. No idea why so I started using it topically without issues. The current formulation I have is 2mg per drop, how many drops are needed to reach 5mg ? I remember in the past reading that absorption through the skin is very high for k2 but not sure anymore as I see @Action talking about only 10% absorption... @haidut any info on this ?

Yes when dissolved in oils, but ethanol is like 50%+ absorption rate. With SFA added, its like 60-70%. According to Haidut

Over the last year a number of people on the forum asked me to release a vitamin K2 supplement as an alternative to the popular (but expensive) Thorne K2 supplement. So, I finally got around to delivering on my promise. Kuinone is a liquid dietary supplement with menatetrenone (MK-4) dissolved in ethanol and SFA esters. If you are wondering what's up with the weird name, well it is a play on the fact that vitamin K is a naphthoquinone, or a type of (q)uinone just like the well-known CoQ10. So, I combined the K from vitamin K and the word quinone to form Kuinone. Hopefully, it is not too confusing to people what the word means.
The fact that it is dissolved in SFA esters + ethanol mixture should dramatically improve topical absorption and allow a much lower daily dose to be used, which will make the bottle last much longer and thus further decrease the overall cost. The product is also available in organic olive oil (EVOOO) as a base/solvent, for people who cannot use ethanol for various personal/religious and/or physiological reasons.
Finally, while the bone benefits of vitamin K2 are known to many people on the forum, some of its "niche" effects are not widely known. So, I compiled a (long) list of references broken down by categories for the people who are interested in finding out more about this amazing substance.

Note: This product contains raw material(s) meant for external use only, in cosmetic or other formulations designed for such external use.
