I have a couple of very large air purifiers in my house. Although my space is 1000 sqft only, my purifiers cover 5000 plus. My allergies have gone since I've started using them, several years ago. Moreover, the need for dusting has significantly gone down. Just make sure you clean the filter regularly and replace the HEPA filter per instructions. I got the AIRMEGA 400.
