Hello I would like to get an in depth hormone profile test done but dont know what I should be looking for and don't know what my values should be for a healthy 37 yr old man who never had sexual issues up until two years ago due to extreme emotional turmoil.

What should I be looking to get numbers on?
Estradiol
cortisol
testosterone
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin
estrogen
DHT

I would like to look at everything so I can start trying to improve. I also don't know what all my values should be. All I know is my sex drive is in the tank, I have developed peyroines disease, and I am just generally not myself.

I have not touched any meds like finestriside which can destroy the androgens.

I am taking a lisinipril for blood pressure and cialis but didn't start these until at least one year after my libido tanked. These are the only big pharma drugs I am taking.

my last test only had the following values
Testosterone254 ng/dL264 - 916 ng/dLL
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin26 nmol/L13 - 90 nmol/L
Albumin, Blood4.1 g/dL3.4 - 5.2 g/dL
Testosterone, Free Calculated200 pmol/L>200 pmol/L pmol/LL
Testosterone, Bioavailable129 ng/dL>130 ng/dLL

Prolactin should be added to that list for hormones and then a thyroid panel would be valuable

Thank you Twillisdc, is there a specific test I should be requesting? What if I get push back from my doctor?

There are some companies who offer a specific grouping of tests but the things you outlined (plus prolactin, vit D) is a good start. You will likely get push back from your MD if you request a full thyroid panel and hormone panel. They have to have justification for ordering those tests or the insurance company won't pay for them. Justification would sound like this: "my sex drive is in the tank, I have developed peyroines disease, and I am just generally not myself." plus, I'm not sleeping well, and my previous labwork was pretty low. That might be enough for them to order the tests. If they deny you, I have a panel I have created with Vibrant America that I run on myself and clients yearly

Thank you Twill I just sent the request for an advanced hormone profile and thyroid panel. Hopefully they arrange for it.
