I was on a vegan diet for 5 years and it caused me a severe lack of b12, I supplemented with Cyanocobalamin 5000mcg daily for 6 months. In the third month, pimples started to appear on my back, arms and a little on my face, a lot of blackheads too.
I didn't use folic acid or folate, because I couldn't tolerate the side effects, but now I believe that the pimples are due to a hemocysteine residue, I would like some tips to clear this problem.
Should I try folic acid again?
