The below article was written in 2012. 32 trillion in offshore accounts!
Super rich hold $32 trillion in offshore havens

This article is more recent and finds another 11 trillion -Governments sharing bank details uncover $11 trillion in offshore assets

The reality is we don’t know how much exactly is hidden so it’s plausible to presume it’s more based on the evidence emerging. It’s not all criminal proceeds ,a lot of tax evasion/loopholes but it’s almost certain a majority of it is crime when you see these numbers.

Well it's highly obvious that whenever there is a country funding/massive helping with billions from the IMF or other official bodies, the directors and heads of said bodies get hundreds of millions in commissions without anyone noticing. It's blended within the billions and everyone around is bribed to shut up

Yes, the amount of monetary "aid" and loans given to developing countries has no correlation with their development.

Well, that's for yet another reason: it's just that you can't expect the countries to have the necessary education or processes to reach sustainable development just because you gave them money.

Teach him how to fish he'll eat for a lifetime.

Some African nations are an example of this ,I can’t recall the number but it’s astronomical.
It’s covered in this documentary quite well.

That's a very important adage. However, many people forget how to teach, which is useless if the student doesn't eventually figure it out for themselves.

The United States, for example, consistently ranks among the lowest in the developed world in Math and sciences testing, despite spending more than anyone. Further, as the US increased education spending per capita over the past few decades, performance actually decreased in those areas.

So dumping money into a problem, even directly into education, doesn't promise results.
