Precautions when taking ox bile? How do I take it safely to heal my liver?

I’ve read some testimonials about how ox bile or taurine or other bile supplements can cause issues. I had a conversation with PeterSN a while back and he advised me that I should get a lot of fiber in my diet when taking ox bile.

How much fiber do you aim to get daily, for all those who take ox bile?

I believe it can help symptoms that are caused by the bile deficiency in the gastrointestinal tract (SIBO, poor motility and so on) but it won’t fix the underlying liver problem.
