Almost immediately after giving birth the area below my nose and around my mouth became dry, red, and flakey.

What the heck? Is it a hormonal thing? It's been three weeks since the birth and no improvement.

I started taking two drops of progest-e a day and I was already taking some thyroid and pregnenalone. I also rub vitamin A on my face (with some coconut oil & olive oil).

Help me make it stop!!!

I got it as well postpartum

Use Vitamin E for some topical relief/soothing
I like this brand from Amazon

This may be more therapeutic than the OO/CO combo your using
It’s very viscous and concentrated

Of course, keeping estrogen in balance is key; but I found it impossible postpartum

Taking Vitamin E orally too may be beneficial

Thanks everyone- I actually found an interview where rp talked about the benefits of Novocaine and Lidocaine topically. I happened to have some lidocaine cream around and rubbed it generously on the red area-- lo and behold it looked almost back to normal within the hour!
