My liver function is terrible and I ended up with ascites after I was given high dose birth control pills for a month in 2018. So are the ascites more related to the thyroid than it is liver damage? I assume the synthetic estrogen made my bile sticky and now my liver has problems detoxing all that. But I also deal with cold temps and Hashimotos. I am on very high sublingual dose of 1000mg progesterone. Will progesterone be able to eliminate the ascites or would thyroid be needed? Or can this be due to endotoxins?
