A Review on Flavonoid Apigenin: Dietary Intake, ADME, Antimicrobial Effects, and Interactions with Human Gut Microbiota

There's a pretty detailed review. It will certainly be something I will try in the near future, for its CD38 inhibition and its antifungal properties. But I think it's a bit of a "shot in the dark" because it goes through several processes in the intestine before being absorbed and is transformed into lutein by the liver.
For sure. The ideal dose is a lot of speculation based on one in vitro study. Perhaps even 200mg might be effective as based on that one review. However, based on the microbiome, absorption, detoxification, etc, the dose will differ a lot between individuals.
