I would like some input on two tonics I've found recently.
Nature's Crazy Hair Boost
http://www.naturecrazy.com/product/head ... ts-tracks/
Ingredient list as follows:
Deionized water, SD Alcohol 40, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine, Pathenol, Biotin, Fragrance, Niacin, Rosemary Oil, Vitamin A, FDC Blue, FDC Yellow
Follon Tincture
https://www.cosmanatura.com/produits-fo ... tique.html
Ingredient list as follows:
Alcohol Dena
Dimenthyl Isororbide
Aqua, Urtica Dioica
Glycine Soja
PEG40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil
Piroctone Olamine
Urea
Serenoa Serrulate
Tridecyl Salicylate, Zinc PCA
Niacinamide, Hamamelis
Virginiana, Malva Silvestris
Tussilage Farfara, Equisetum Arvense
Parfume
Disodium Cystinyl Disuccinate
Retinyl Palmitate, Lactic Acid
What should be my concerns when assessing these ingredients? I was quite surprised to see tryptophan in the first formula... Same feeling when it comes to lactic acid in the second. I've also had a terrible experience with oral Serenoa Serrulate, so I'm not sure I like the thought of using it topically either.
@Dan Wich, can you pitch in...?
