I am 63, post menopausal (had total hysterectomy at age 35) and have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Along with my thyroid medication I currently supplement with:
I am thinking of re-starting pregnenolone but not sure if it's better to take a single 300mg dose once a week or 50mg a day.
Any advice MUCH appreciated!
vitamin A (5000 i.u./drop)— 2 drops/day
vitamin B complex — 2 drops/day (6.6mg B1, 1mg B2, 34mg B3, 660mcg B6, 66mcg B7)
vitamin D3 (1000 i.u.) — every day
vitamin E (400 i.u.) — every other day
vitamin K (1mg/drop) — 2 drops/day
magnesium citrate (200mg) every day
selenium (200mcg) 2 capsules every day
progesterone (3 mg/drop): 6 drops every day
I also take a single plain Alka-Seltzer in water, though not every day. (Should I????)vitamin B complex — 2 drops/day (6.6mg B1, 1mg B2, 34mg B3, 660mcg B6, 66mcg B7)
