Hello Everyone,
I was looking at the Ca to P ratio of chocolate on Nutrition Data, and it appears the ratio is skewed in favor of P. What do you think of this? Perhaps it's not much of a concern if you only consume an ounce per day.
An ounce of unsweetened chocolate will give you a Ca to P ratio of 1:4 .
Baking chocolate, unsweetened, squares Nutrition Facts & Calories
Is it better to eat chocolate after a meal as opposed to before? I listened to a Ray Peat interview where he stated that drinking coffee after a meal was preferable. Drinking coffee before a meal produces too much NO, which accelerates the aging process. I was thinking the same likely applied to chocolate.
Blessings,
Andrew
