Zeolite For Radiation

I've had three cat scans in a year and a half and now I'm worried. There is a product on the market called Zeolite I'm thinking about trying. Ray Peat has never mentioned this stuff but I'm wondering if anyone has had any experiences with it.

This is the second google result on zeolyte, this company, but you can read the short form of the sales pitch...

It's intriguing but possibly dangerous. Radiation just freaks me out anyway. Also I'm a little concerned about any kind of chelation because who knows WHAT is lurking in me at this point.

Thoughts anyone?

It sounds like a clay, so it should be effective at removing heavy metals. The website claims it works well for radiation, but I don't know how valid that is. There are many radioactive isotopes, many of which are not classified as heavy metals. Further, I can't find any evidence that clays have any direct effect on radiation already incurred by the body. Cat scans, or x-rays, are controlled emissions of electromagnetic energy. Your body doesn't receive any radioactive isotopes or metals, just radiation. So I don't see how the clay would help, apart from the indirect effect heavy metal detox may have on your general health, and thus your cell's ability to handle radiation. I could see it being more suited for something like fallout from fukishima, in which your are actually ingesting radioactive metals from food and through skin. 3 catscans/18months isn't too bad, ive heard much worse. A solid diet should help, and Peat says caffiene, aspirin, and red light all help combat radiation. Hope this helps.

1 cup per 12 gallons is a 1 percent solution for general well being. 3 cups per 12 gallons is a 3% solution (if I am remembering correctly.) for detox. Any more than that is just wasting salt. ;) 20 -40 minute soak....or how ever long the water stays warm. ;)
