Been there. Stop porn and masturbating and it will be fixed in a matter of weeks, maybe less. That really is it. Yes I also could get an erection when watching porn but that was about it. It's pretty simple really
Yes, because physiological changes to the vasculature of the penis - often times actual atherosclerotic plaque, endothelial dysfunction, etc - which is heavily associated with CVD, diabetes, hypothyroidsim, etc, is all fixed by not watching porn.
Great insight.

Funny to see how triggered porn-watchers get.

I don't watch porn.
Regardless, there are clear physiological causes as outlined per my previous comment that are not explained by watching pornography - telling men with clear medical issues to 'just stop watching porn' is doing them a disservice.

Have never even read it, but I can already tell you that 'yourbrainonporn.com' is not a credible source of information.

Then why are you defending porn when there is an obvious link between the rise of young men with ED and porn use?

'Yourbrainonporn' links studies from all over, you are outright dismissing it because you don't link the URL? Retarded.

When did I say "watching porn never causes ED"? Don't strawman.
The comment I was responding to claimed that fixing ED was as 'simple' as stopping watching porn, when it's clearly extrondiarly more complex on a physiological level - otherwise, it wouldn't be linked to every degenerative disease in existence.
But yes, let's all keep telling the man with signs of early-onset cardiovascular disease to just stop watching porn - what could ever go wrong with that?

Anybody can find a study to support whatever belief or claim they want.
Isolated studies that are poorly designed =/= statistical power.
If isolated studies = proof, then estrogen and pufa are cardioprotective, serotonin cures depression and androgens cause neurodegeneration.

Of course there are other possible reasons for ED but for many men it really is that simple, therefore avoiding porn should not be dismissed as a possible solution.

Once again you are trying to deny the link between porn and ED by claiming poorly designed studies without having even looked at them. Top notch shilling.

You got me - solely here as a plant for the porn industry with the aim of giving everyone ED.
Wish I had your extraordinary intuition.

It's caused by autonomic dysfunction / predominance of sympathetic tone which leads to noradrenaline-induced peripheral vasoconstriction, with erections entirely dependant upon vasodilation of the penile corpus cavernosum.
Low testosterone, elevated estrogen, cortisol and prolactin, hypothyroidism, etc, etc, can all lead to chronic, unosspossed sympathetic activation.

Nitrergic-noradrenergic interaction in penile erection: a new insight into erectile dysfunction

I didn't read the full article but doesn't this abstract suggest that in humans the level of adrenergic stimulation does not matter because nitrergic control will dominate even over supraphysiological (nor)adrenaline concentrations?

Well that's good news. I didn't even realize it but that's just another reason of so many not to PMO

I have a similar problem, non-existent desire and probably ED. Let me know if you find anything that helps!

Thank you, will try to reduce the freuqency!
A lot of times you just burning yourself out. And when you fap too much you create micro tears on the **** which makes it less sensitive and uh... arousal. Try not to do the "death grib" either. Hakuna matata vibes are in order.

Could be estrogen related. Have you had it tested?
I did an estrogen test now and I got 0,11 nmol/L. The refference range here is somewhere from 0,00 - 0,16. Do you think this is too high then? Prolactin was 281 mIE/L and the refference for prolactin here is somewhere between 100-400.

Maybe a little high, but unlikely to be the cause. Your symptoms that you described on page 2 (depression and anxiety) do correlate with low thyroid hormones. It's not uncommon to suffer from estrogenic symptoms in a hypothyroid state. What are your temps and pulse?

Not sure about temps, but pulse was 80 and my TSH is 2,8

2.8 is a bit too high. Do you have cold hands and feet? Anything else in your health feeling slower or more sluggish than it should?
