Would you get rid of a mole?

..if you often hurt it with clothes?

I have a mole on my neck and it often gets hurt by clothes or when my kid hugs me. Sometimes i am afraid that it can provoc melanoma.
What do you think of it? Please, share your thoughts and experience.

If this is a new mole that recently appeared in adulthood, it might be a sign that your blood sugar is too high. Such new moles are often referred to as 'skin tags'. see

@David PS thank you for advice! It is a mole from childhood, not new.
I am also inclined to remove it to tell the truth. It's been irritated a few times per week, so it is not a safe situation i guess
