Hi guys,
I'm sorry to bother you with a question I'm certain has been asked. I am a 29 year old female with Hashimotos. I recently started NDT but continue to feel shitty. My Endocrinolgist would like to put me on testosterone, based on my lab work below- and I'm curious if that's a poor idea. However, I have the symptoms of low testosterone -malaise, low motivation, low sex drive- but I'm young and a little confused why this could be so low. Any thoughts or suggestions would be so helpful! Thank you guys for such a wonderful community.

Female-Hashimotos-29 years old- taking desiccated thryoid-thyroid levels have normalized.

Testosterone Serum - 15 ng/dl
Bioavailable Testosterone- 2.2 ng/dl
Bioavailable Testosterone %- 14.8%
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin- 106.2 nmol/L
Aldosterone- it says greater than 1.0 (I don't understand this, but I'm told it's very low)
Ferritin- 17 ng/ml (Won't be supplementing this obviously)
Plasma Renin Activity- 0.591 ng/ml/h

You could try pregnenalone with thyroid and see if that brings it up.

Testosterone is awesome :woot:

Some people around here would probably tell you to try and fix your problem via diet. I'd be tempted to take the testosterone... It's probably safer to try and bring your levels up "naturally" though.
