Nope I only organic grains. The phosphorus in the grains are aging to skin and binds to calcium which gets carried out instead of being used for bones and teeth. You gotta have a lot of calcium in your diet to get away with a lot of grains. You don’t know anything is happening until one day you say what heck! Undoing it all is a process. Sprouted is much better.
Do you still include (organic) sprouted grains in your diet? Is there any dispute about their nature being more plant-like than starch? I've heard the same thing as you, but I'm not sure.

I do eat some sprouted grains, but not daily. I am especially loving this date manna bread, toasted in the toaster and topped with lots of butter. It is moist almost like a fresh baked banana bread without the banana flavor.

I do eat some sprouted grains, but not daily. I am especially loving this date manna bread, toasted in the toaster and topped with lots of butter. It is moist almost like a fresh baked banana bread without the banana flavor.

Sounds "heavenly" alright. Thank you- I might dabble in some sprouted options that I haven't indulged in for many years. Now that the cold has arrived here, I find I need more comfort foods, like cold cereal, or toasted bread slathered with butter. You know. 😊

Now that you mentioned cereal, I love this sprouted rice cereal too. You would probably appreciate this sprouted oatmeal too. I make a lot of yummy things with the sprouted oats.

Now that you mentioned cereal, I love this sprouted rice cereal too. You would probably appreciate this sprouted oatmeal too. I make a lot of yummy things with the sprouted oats.
Oh yes, just bought the rice cereal. The plain and the chocolate one! Also bought Ezekiel sprouted cereal. Used to eat the bread regularly but had to back off from grains in general. Now I wouldn't overdo it because I know where it leads, but I think in moderation should be ok. Thanks for sharing all your yummy pics, and recipes!

I should have clarified-- I already eat sprouted rolled oats and agree-- they are so versatile in many recipes. Even though they are sprouted I still like to soak them overnight in yogurt before cooking the next day. I like the tangy taste the yogurt leaves behind, and feel they are probably even more digestible. If I want to use oat as a substitute in baked goods as flour, I grind in my VitaMix first. And of course, if the recipe calls for whole oats, I use the sprouted in place of regular rolled oats. 👍

Sounds like you are eating well for your health! I really don’t taste any difference with sprouted grains so why eat all the starchy gluten.

I feel amazing when I take tianeptine (NMDA antagonist)... Very relaxed & peaceful without feeling tired necessarily. Histamine antagonists have a similar although less potent effect.

Then again, it's easy to assess that I'm on the hyperexcitatory side.
